Preventive archaeology
Our involvement in the field of Preventive Archaeology began in 1994 with the Lazio section of the High Speed Rome-Naples Railway. Since then principles and techniques have evolved from project to project responding to the needs of public and private developers in compliance with the requirements set by the competent authority of the Ministero dei beni e delle attività culturali e del turismo (Ministry for Cultural Heritage and Activities and for Tourism). Following this first, applied and not theoretical, pioneering experience a law was passed on the 25th June 2005 known as Archeologia preventiva.
